A Europsychologist is a professional who holds a certificate awarded by the European Federation of Psychological Societies (EFPA), which confirms that the person meets the high professional and ethical standards that apply throughout Europe. In addition, he is a professional who participates in research and scientific projects to promote and develop psychological knowledge. She possesses a wide range of theoretical and practical knowledge along with knowledge of various psychological theories and research methods. She is characterized by diagnostic skills: conducting a diagnosis, analyzing the results of psychological tests along with an interview, which are used to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Empathy, active listening, verbal and non-verbal communication skills characterize a certified Europsychologist.
The most important characteristic of a Europsychologist is adherence to professional ethics such as:
confidentiality, privacy of the acquired information necessary for therapy, as well as respect for the dignity and autonomy of the client.
The supervisor conducts supervisions for other psychologists supporting their professional development, helping them to reflect on their practice and improve their skills. He or she determines the trainee's baseline and final level of competence by describing competency indicators that serve to improve the trainee's collaboration with the client, defining the purpose of the intervention or service that the trainee will provide.
A psychologist authorized to conduct psychological examinations in the field of transport psychology pursuant to Article 87 (1) of the Law of January 5, 2011 on Vehicle Drivers (Journal of Laws. No. 30 item 151, as amended.
Psychologist authorized to conduct psychological examinations of persons applying for a weapon permit or registering an air weapon and persons holding a weapon permit or registered air weapon. Registered in the register of authorized psychologists kept by the Commander of the Capital Police.
